A Wallingford-based entrepreneur has been included in the Forbes Europe ‘30 Under 30’ list recognising ‘youthful visionaries’.
Marcus Taylor, 26, made the cut in the 2018 edition in the media and marketing sector having grown his digital services company into a global team of more than 20 marketers, product designers and developers.
Marcus started building websites at age 10 before co-founding Venture Harbour, based at Howbury Business Park, in 2012.
Marcus said: “It’s fantastic to be recognised by Forbes.
“Venture Harbour continues to expand with each of the new ventures we build, and I’m really proud that we are now one of the 50 fastest growing tech companies in the UK.”
Venture Harbour has built nine ventures so far, including lead generation software and artificial intelligence chatbots.
Donna Bowles, Estates Manager at Howbery Business Park, said: “We’re very proud of Marcus’s success, and also of his aim to make Venture Harbour one of the best places to work.
“They have made themselves a unique creative space, with standing desks and a non-corporate feel.
“We often see Marcus and the team playing outdoor sports on the park lawn, and it’s good to see they take time out to play as well as work hard.”
