Wheatley saw out 2017 in style after comprehensively despatching Bletchley 29-5 in a one-sided BBO Premier fixture on Saturday.
Sanda Mpanza and Joe Hobdell marshalled a disciplined defence that kept a clean sheet in the first-half, while the Wheats were lethal at the other end as Iain Downer, Joe Taylor, Aaron Laman and Alex Gabbidon all scored tries.
The win means Wheatley will end the year fifth in the Wadworth 6X BBO Premier on 30 points.
Elsewhere in the division, Abingdon continue their search for a first win since early October after a run of seven consecutive defeats culminating in a 48-7 loss to Littlemore which leaves them one place above the bottom.
In South West 1 East, Banbury overcame north Oxfordshire rivals Bicester 57-10 as they race ahead of Salisbury in the table ending the year in third on 56 points while Bicester languish in 13th just two points above bottom club Marlow on 15.
Grove lost 27-20 to Stratford-Upon-Avon and Oxford Harlequins posted a 48-28 win over Witney.
In National League South 2 Chinnor are flying high as their 71 point total means they will finish 2017 top of the table after thumping Canterbury 41-7.
