New on the scene but already picking up rave reviews, Tom Grennan will be performing at the O2 Academy in Oxford later in the year following a sold out March tour.
His debut album, Lighting Matches will be released this July and is set to feature heavily in his biggest tour to date that will see him playing to more than 35,000 people across the UK in clubs and arenas.
Tom will also be playing 14 festivals this summer, performing in front of more than half a million people. An incredible feat for a 22-year-old from Bedford.
The Telegraph have proclaimed Tom to be “a cross between the deep, estuarial soul of Adele and the jaded experience of Wimbledon troubadour Jamie T” while Wonderland Magazine described his talent as “with Paolo Nutini-esque tones, Tom’s vocals are hypnotically beautiful and completely enchanting”.
Having just released a new single, Sober, which is currently sitting on the Radio 1, Radio 2, Virgin and Absolute daytime playlists, Tom continues to work on Lighting Matches with Grammy award winning producer Fraser T
Smith and Dan Grech.
Lighting Matches will also feature his popular single Found What I’ve Been Looking For, which was used as the title music to Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage and has racked up more than 14 million streams.
He will make his appearance at the O2 Academy on October 18. For more information head over to academymusicgroup.com.
