OXFORDSHIRE’S first indoor trampoline park has opened its doors and is already a big hit with residents.
Rebound opened its doors just three weeks ago and has already had more than 4,000 people through them.
The £450,000 facility is based at Talisman Business Centre and is made up of 12,000 sq ft of trampolines including a dodge ball arena, walk the wall and a virtual reality climbing wall.
There is also a battle beam – a Wipe-Out style activity with a spinning arm that participants will have to jump to stay in the game.
Managing director Matt Tofts said the reaction from people had been “fantastic”.
He said: “Since opening we have been extremely busy – we have seen over 4,000 people through our doors and its getting busier.
“I’m relieved, excited, and proud.”
He said the only last-minute hitch was the café furniture arriving a few days after the opening day and it was “self-assembly”.
The business is expected to create about 45 full and part time jobs as well as up to 20 further seasonal positions.
Mr Tofts, a former Finmere School pupil, who now lives near Banbury, said he was looking to introduce special offers for students, fitness classes and sessions for people with learning difficulties.
He hopes to attract visitors from across Oxfordshire as well as Bicester Village shoppers –the site is close to the town centre and Bicester Village Train Station.
