An Oxford teenage skiing sensation claimed gold at the Delancey British Alpine Skiing Championships in Tignes on Monday.
Jack Cunningham, 16, started the championships with a first-placed podium finish in the Under-16 Super G race with a time of 55.13 seconds.
The Championships showcases some of the hottest prospects in the sport.
Jack, who races for Team Evolution and trains in Leogang, Austria, said: “I’m aiming for victory hopefully in Giant Slalom and then Slalom, but we’ll see how it goes.
“It’s good to be able to compete against the rest of the country and see where you stand. And it’s just good fun.
“Next season I’d like to qualify for the Youth Olympics, so that’ll probably be my main goal next year.
“I’m going to Chile in summer, and then just training in Europe during the winter, focusing on Giant Slalom and Super G – they’ll be the main two.”
