Sixteen members of crew from RAF Brize Norton clocked up the miles to raise an impressive £880 for charity.
The team held a spin-a-thon challenge at Sainsburys in Witney in aid of Helen & Douglas House.
A spokesperson for the charity which helps families and children with terminal illnesses, said: “Thank you very much for your fantastic support RAF Brize Norton, we’re very grateful for your time.
“Every penny, every smile you help us raise, makes a big difference to the lives of terminally ill children and young adults.”
The event took place between 9am to 5pm, with the crew attempting to “travel” as long a distance as possible.
The personnel split up into two teams and competed to see who could achieve the greatest distance – Team A managed to win the event, covering a total distance of 251.8 km while Team B managed 245.7 km.
