Police are searching for two men who are wanted in connection with a string of burglaries and car thefts on the same day in Oxford last year.
Lewis Felton, 27, and Kane Jones, 21, are wanted for their connection to three burglaries that took place between 2.10am and 2.45am in the Marston area on November 14.
During the first burglary five offenders all wearing hooded tops forced their way into the property on Coniston Avenue and stole a set of car keys to a Mazda 3 with tinted windows and gold alloy wheels.
Two of the burglars then drove off in the Mazda while the other three headed towards Valentia Road where they forced open a door and stole the keys to a Land Rover with a 2014 number plate.
A third burglary occurred in Hill Top Road 15 minutes later where keys to a BMW X5, which was later recovered in Prospect Road, were among items stolen.
The pair both have links to Kidlington and Oxford. Felton also has links with Berinsfield.
PC Sian Lewis said: “This type of burglary is generally committed with the sole intention of recovering car keys so that the victim’s vehicles can then be stolen. As such the force advises motorists to place their keys out of sight.”
