A raging inferno destroyed lorries at a Banbury business park last week.
Three lorries were scorched following the early morning blaze at Bidvest Logistics in Dorcas Road.
Fire crews from Banbury, Hook Norton, Deddington and Brackley were sent to tackle the flames, after being called out at 5.45am on Wednesday last week.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service released these dramatic images, adding that the fire was ‘rapidly developing’ and there were fears it could spread to nearby vehicles.
Firefighters hosed down the flames and prevented further damage.
No one was hurt and the fire is not thought to be suspicious.
A fire service spokesperson issued a warning to businesses: “This incident demonstrates the need for businesses to have sound business continuity plans and staff training.
“In this incident, the quick response of the company staff to move other closely parked vehicles certainly prevented a greater loss of property.”
Bidvest Logistics provides distribution services to clients in the food industry.
