The county’s newest children’s nursery has opened its doors.
The Old Station Nursery, based at the 700-home Heyford Park development in Upper Heyford, will cater for 64 children aged from birth to five years old.
The new north Oxfordshire centre opened on April 9 and will provide full day care or part-day sessions.
It is expected to receive government funding for some two-year olds, and all three- and four-year olds.
Sarah Steel, managing director of The Old Station Nursery, said the ‘fabulous’ new facility “will make a real difference to local families”.
Jeanne Evett, from Dorchester Living, the developers behind Heyford Park, added: “Childcare is essential for working families and the children of our community are very important to us.
“We are delighted that The Old Station Nursery is now open and providing excellent childcare and early education for local families.”
