Goalkeeper Claire Skinner and striker Chloe Chivers have been called up to the Welsh Women’s squad for the Cyprus Cup.
Manager Jayne Ludlow named the Oxford United Ladies pair ahead of the tournament opener against Finland on February 28.
Wales have been placed in Group A alongside Finland, Italy and Switzerland, and will be keen to improve on last year’s sixth place finish.
Skinner has played two games for Oxford so far this season while Chivers is the club’s second top goalscorer with three goals from 12 appearances.
The call-ups came after the U’s lost their fourth game of the WSL2 season.
Having got back to winning ways against Aston Villa the previous week, United were unable to build on this and lost 2-1 at Tottenham Hotspur Ladies on Sunday.
Chivers justified her Wales call up with the opener midway through the first half, heading an Ellis Hillman cross over the keeper and into the net.
The Yellows held on to the lead until hail and snow made a guest appearance and an Oxford player handled in the box.
Stopper Demi Lambourne saved the spot kick only for Coral-Jade Haines to convert the rebound on 68 minutes.
And Spurs secured the points 10 minutes later when Ryah Vyse prodded home a Bianca Baptiste cross.
Oxford remain fifth, a point and a place above Tottenham, on 11 points from nine games.
They travel to Brighton & Hove Albion (3rd) on Thursday next week.
