Attacking midfielder James Henry has been voted Oxford United’s player of the month for March.
It was a good month for the 28-year-old, who scored twice, against the play-off chasing duo of Peterborough United and Scunthorpe United.
Henry scooped the award after fans cast their vote on the club’s website.
The former Millwall man was influential for the U’s throughout the month and his calmness from the spot against the Iron earned Oxford a valuable point.
That was after the Reading-born midfielder netted the second in a 2-1 win against the Posh.
The player of the month vote for April will be held towards the end of the month.
Henry, in his debut season for United after signing on a free from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer, has scored eight goals in 45 appearances so far for the U’s.
