With the weather looking brighter (and hopefully drier), it’s a good time to get out and enjoy the fresh air.
So if you’re looking for something to do with family and friends or seeking a fun day out with the kids in Oxford then why not explore the city on a self-guided Spy Mission themed Treasure Trail.
As you follow the Trail route, solve the sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features and monuments to crack the code and complete the mission just like a true secret agent
The Trail starts at Carfax and takes you up Cornmarket Street, down Broad and Holywell Streets and across Magdalen Bridge. You will then enjoy a riverside walk around beautiful Christ Church Meadow to St Aldate’s before finishing back at your starting point.
The Oxford City and Meadow Trail is approximately 2.8 miles long and takes two and a half hours to complete and is uistable for ages 6 to 106.
You’ll need a trail booklet to help guide you and there’s a mobile phone text service offering clue answers should you get stuck.
There are a variety of trails available so you can explore other parts of the county too.
As well as fun and fresh air for the whole family there’s also the chance to win £100 with all correct answers going into a monthly prize draw.
