Three former workers at a Wallingford care home have denied allegations of abuse against elderly residents between 2015 and 2017.
Elizabeth Collins, 61, of Kynaston Road, Didcot, is charged with wilful neglect of a resident and six counts of breaching a care provider’s duty at Winterbrook Nursing Home.
Mary Craddock, 59, of Egerton Road, Wallingford, is charged with five counts of wilful neglect and Joan Lovell, 63, of St Leonard’s Lane, Wallingford, with three counts.
All three appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and entered not guilty pleas to all charges.
The women, who have each been granted unconditional bail, are due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on May 11.
The home was bought by new owners Wallingford Care Ltd last month and has gone from being in special measures to ‘requires improvement’ in a Care Quality Commision report released last month.
