A trapped driver had to be cut free after their car overturned in icy conditions.
The vehicle flipped on the A417 in East Challow, south Oxfordshire, at around 7am on Saturday.
Fire crews from Faringdon and Didcot used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the casualty, who was taken to hospital by paramedics.
The driver’s injuries were not life threatening.
Conditions on the roads were icy and gritters attended the area shortly afterwards.
A fire service spokesperson said: “The driving conditions have been very difficult throughout the county.
“Icy roads will cause vehicles to lose traction causing drivers to struggle to maintain control of the vehicle.
“I urge all drivers to reduce speeds in these conditions and allow more time to complete journeys.”
