A community-driven competition is offering business the chance to have their logo emblazoned on the Oxford City Stars’ home shirt next season.
A £2,000 sponsorship deal with the city’s ice hockey team, who missed out on promotion at the weekend, is up for grabs.
Companies and charities can enter the off-ice competition by donating £100 to the Stars’ Just Giving campaign which aims to improve the club’s community involvement in schools.
Each entrant will receive a season ticket for next season which covers the full value of the investment in the draw based on the early bird price of £100 for an adult.
The Stars, who need £15,000 to run a full community engagement programme next season, are looking for a minimum of 20 entries to cover the cost of the value of the sponsorship.
The winner will have their logo on the home shirt next season. If there are fewer than 20 entrants the prize will revert to the away shirt if there are 10 entries.
Stars director Greig Box Turnbull said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to gain fantastic exposure and support the Stars and what we are building as a club.”
