Award-winning images of the nation’s flora and fauna have arrived for a special exhibition at The Oxfordshire Museum in Woodstock.
Showcasing the winners and runners-up from the 2017 British Wildlife Photography Awards (BWPA), the exhibition celebrates the talents of amateur and professional photographers and highlights the diversity of the country’s natural history.
Striking images of bird life, mammals and marine habitats are on display alongside floral habitats and mystical woodland scenes.
Lorraine Horne, audience development officer at the museum, said: “The BWPA aims to raise awareness about British biodiversity and habitats and encourage all ages to discover, explore and help conserve our heritage.
“This exhibition captures the imagination of photographers from all over the UK, with incredible images which showcase British wildlife at it’s very best.”
The exhibition will be on show at the Park Street museum until April 29.
