Bushy, dapper, curly, and even handmade beards all took centre stage over the weekend.
The Oxford Beard Festival at the Tap Social movement in North Hinksey, brought lovers of beards and moustaches together to raise funds for the Oxford food bank.
Participants with curious and unique facial hair had a chance to partake in competitions such as big & bushy, dapper as, curliest & straightest moustache, and choptastic. There was also a ‘less mess’ eating contest, where competitors had to eat the messiest food and stay as clean as they could, with the cleanest man winning the competition.
Now in its fourth year, the event on Saturday raised more than £600 to help pay for petrol for the food bank’s four vans and supplement 50,000 meals.
