Bicester & North Oxford Cricket Club’s winter nets get under way this month as the club look to build on their 2017 successes.
B&NOCC saw off competition from Home Counties Premier League sides to lift the Wilf Bennett T20 Trophy in September, after a league campaign that saw their youth system bear fruit in the senior sides.
Nets for Under-17 and senior players start at 8pm on Wednesday, before moving to a regular Thursday slot at the same time the following week.
Former players Gary ‘Sam’ Sansome and Paul Jeacock have been tempted back to the club in a coaching capacity and will help out with training.
The 2018 season gets under way on May 5, with both first and second teams taking on relegated Great & Little Tew sides, and the third XI hosting Abingdon Vale fourths.
Junior nets start on Sunday, with Under-9s and Under-11s from 9am to 10am, and Under-13 and Under-15s from 10am to 11am.
