Bradley Smith is ready and raring to go for the new season after completing pre-season testing in Qatar last week.
The three-day tester was the last of three sessions ahead of the season opener at the same Losail International Circuit on March 18.
Forest Hill rider Smith had a small crash on the second day but picked himself up again on Saturday for the final round to record his and his team’s best time.
The 27-year-old’s 1.150 seconds off leader Johann Zarco left him in 14th place, his best return from all three pre-season tests.
“It’s nice to finally finish the tests and iron out some of the details ready for the start of the season,” Smith, looking forward to the new season, said.
“We are already 1.2 seconds faster than we were last year here, so we have to be very pleased.”
He added: “We’ve made good progress over the last 12 months and we can be proud.
“We’ll now see what the race weekend brings. We are as prepared as we can be.”
Team-mate Pol Espargaro, who returned to the KTM RC16 after injuring himself in Malaysia in January, finished 20th (+1.460) while test driver Mika Kallio was 25th (+3.189).
